We’ll be scurrying around central London, seeing some of the sites that made scientific history. It’ll be a great way to meet people in London if you’re new to the city, or make new friends and acquaintances if you are not. The tour will be guided by Sid Rodrigues and London aficionado Matt Brown, Editor of The Londonist.

Join us for a fun and romantic evening in a great Thames-side pub with our special guests, who will be discussing love, relationships and skepticism. Professor Bruce Hood will be talking about the superstitions of dating, and Dr Petra Boynton will debunk some of the bad science surrounding sex, love and relationships. You never know, you might even meet your perfect skeptical partner! Lucky pants optional.

A treasure-trove of Henry Wellcome’s medical, spiritual and magical trinkets collected on his travels around the world. We’ll be treated to a closer look at the Wellcome Library’s special collections on medical quackery, and other mystical and magical thinking documents of the time.
